Nothing makes me think of the holidays more than gingerbread. This gingerbread smoothie bowl has all the flavors of a gingerbread cookie, but with the added benefits of superfoods like molasses and chia seeds. Both contain iron, calcium and minerals. The perfect healthy combo for a plant based diet. 

INGREDIENTS

1/2 cup Coconut milk
2 Bananas
A one inch piece of Ginger
A dash of Nutmeg
1 tbsp Molasses
4 Dates
1 tbsp Chia seeds
A dash of Cinnamon
A pinch of Salt

INSTRUCTIONS

Blend all ingredients in high speed blender and pour into a bowl. Top with a sprinkle of cinnamon, 1/4 cup of oats and a drizzle of almond butter.
